The present invention relates to inducible transcription control sequences for the regulation of gene expression. Specifically, it relates to an transcription control sequence comprising at least two tet operator sequence motifs allowing the binding of tetracycline-dependent transcriptional regulators, wherein each of the said tetracycline-dependent transcriptional regulators binds with respect to its neighbour to an opposite face of the DNA helix, and a minimal promoter comprising a TATA box which is linked at its 5' end to a general transcription factor binding site. Further, the present invention relates to a vector, a host cell, a plant or a non-human transgenic animal comprising the said transcription control sequence. Also contemplated is a method for regulating the expression of a nucleic acid sequence being operatively linked to the transcription control sequence of the present invention in a host cell, a plant or a non-human transgenic animal.
Cette invention concerne des séquences de contrôle de la transcription inductibles pour la régulation de l'expression génique. Plus spécifiquement, elle concerne une séquence de contrôle de la transcription comprenant au moins deux motifs de séquence de lopérateur Tet permettant la liaison de régulateurs transcriptionnels dépendant de la tétracycline, chacun desdits régulateurs transcriptionnels dépendant de la tétracycline se liant, par rapport à son voisin, à une face opposée de l'hélice dADN, et un promoteur minimal comprenant une boîte TATA qui est liée par son extrémité 5' à un site de liaison des facteurs de transcription à caractère général. La présente invention concerne, en outre, un vecteur, une cellule hôte, une plante ou un animal transgénique non humain comprenant ladite séquence de contrôle de la transcription. On aborde également un procédé pour réguler l'expression d'une séquence d'acide nucléique liée de manière opérationnelle à la séquence de contrôle de la transcription selon la présente invention dans une cellule hôte, une plante ou un animal transgénique non humain.
