A method of creep forming a metallic component includes the steps of applying a static loading and a cyclic loading to the component during the creep forming thereof. The magnitude of the cyclic loading is much smaller than the magnitude of the static loading. The magnitude of the cyclic loading may be less than 1% up to 10% of the static loading.
