A method of signalling in an AIN, in which in an SSP, the initial message of a new transaction is addressed to a Service Global Title (SGT). The SSP translates that SGT to a first address of the first choice SCP. The SCP responds with an acknowledgement message which has a second address of the SCP as its source address, and includes the Nodal Global Title (NGT) of that SCP. The SSP sends subsequent messages for that transaction addressed to that NGT, and the SSP translates that NGT to the second address of the SCP. When the SCP is taken out of service, the first address is made unavailable, so the SSP sends new initial messages to the second choice SCP, but subsequent messages for existing transactions may still be sent to the second address of the first choice SCP. When all existing transactions have ceased, the SCP is taken out of service.
Procédé de signalisation dans un AIN selon lequel dans un SSP le message d'origine d'une nouvelle transaction est adressé à un titre global de service (SGT). Le SSP traduit le SGT en une première adresse du premier choix SCP. Le SCP répond par un message de reconnaissance qui a une deuxième adresse du SCP en tant qu'adresse source, et comprend le titre global de noeud (NGT) de cet SCP. Le SSP envoie des messages suivants pour cette transaction adressée à cet NGT, et le SSP traduit cet NGT en la deuxième adresse du SCP. Lorsque le SCP est retiré du service, la première adresse n'es plus disponible, et de cette manière le SSP envoie de nouveau message d'origine au SCP de deuxième choix; cependant, les messages suivants pour les transactions existantes peuvent toujours être envoyés à la deuxième adresse du SCP du premier choix. Lorsque toutes les transactions existantes auront cessé, le SCP est retiré du service.
