PCT/FI90/00300 Abstract The invention relates to a device for supporting the foot when putting a lower extremity in plaster. To provide a steady device holding the foot of the patient in the right position, the device of the in- vention comprises a plate (1) to be positioned against the sole of the patient and to be fastened to a holder, the breadth (A) of which plate mainly cor- responds to the breadth of the foot to be plastered at the ball of the foot and the lower edge (B) of which plate is oblique in such a way that the ball (C) of the foot to be plastered is supported upwards from the oblique lower edge of the plate. The plate (1) has an axle (2) essentially perpendicular to the level thereof, which axle is arranged to run between two toes, preferably between the big toe (10) and the second toe, the foot being in a position for plas- tering. (Figure 1a)
