La présente invention a pour objet l'utilisation de polysaccharides particuliers pour l'adjuvantation de matières minérales, notamment pour l'adjuvantation de liants minéraux. Ces polysaccharides présentent de manière caractéristique: - une masse moléculaire moyenne en poids « MW », au moins égale à 500 g/mole et au plus égale à 9000 g/mole, notamment comprise entre 700 et 7000 g/mole, et - un taux de branchement « BR » au moins égal à %, notamment compris entre 10 et 40 %. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation conjointe, dans les matières minérales dont notamment les liants minéraux, de ces polysaccharides particuliers d'une part et de certains autres adjuvants d'autre part, par exemple d'adjuvants, de nature saccharidique ou non, à fonctionnalité plastifiante, superplastifiante ou autre.
