The invention relates to pharmaceutical formulations which can be used in relation to cancer and which block the binding of Interleukin 2 (IL-2) to the receptor thereof. More specifically, the invention relates to therapeutic formulations that can increase the immunogenicity of IL-2 by coupling same to transport protein P64k of Neisseria meningitidis in adjuvant Montanide ISA 51 for the induction of autoantibodies that block the binding of IL-2 to the receptor thereof. The invention also relates to effective methods for the treatment of tumours, including breast cancer. The invention further relates to the therapeutic combination of the IL-2-based vaccine with other cancer vaccines based on specific antigens of tumours or tumour growth factors, as well as radiotherapy or chemotherapeutic medicaments that are traditionally used in oncological practice.
L'invention concerne des formulations pharmaceutiques utiles dans le traitement du cancer, qui permettent de bloquer la fixation de l'interleukine-2 (IL-2) sur son récepteur. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne des formulations thérapeutiques pouvant augmenter l'immunogénicité de l'IL-2 par couplage de celle-ci à la protéine de transport P64k de la Neisseria Meningitidis dans un adjuvant de type Montanide ISA 51 afin d'induire des anticorps de blocage de l'IL-2 à son récepteur, et des procédés efficaces de traitement de tumeurs, notamment du cancer du sein. Selon un autre aspect, l'invention concerne une combinaison thérapeutique d'un vaccin à base d'IL-2 avec d'autres vaccins contre le cancer à base d'antigènes spécifiques de tumeurs ou de facteurs de croissance tumorale, ainsi que des médicaments de chimiothérapie ou de radiothérapie utilisés de manière générale en oncologie.
