Lewis base adducts comprising MgCln(OR)2-n, and an aprotic Lewis base that are in molar ratios to each other defined by the formula: MgCln(OR)2-nLBp in which n is from 0.1 to 1.9, p is higher than 0.4, and R is a C1-C15 hydrocarbon group. The adducts of the present invention are particularly useful as precursors of Ziegler-Natta catalyst components for the polymerization of olefins.

L'invention porte sur des adduits à base de Lewis comprenant du MgCl¿n?(OR)¿2-n?, et une base de Lewis aprotique dans un rapport molaire défini par la formule: MgCl¿n?(OR)¿2-n?LB¿p? dans laquelle: n est de 0,1 à 1,9, p est supérieur à 0,4, et R est un groupe hydrocarboné C1-C15. Lesdits adduits sont particulièrement utiles comme précurseurs des éléments catalyseurs Ziegler-Natta utilisés pour la polymérisation des oléfines.
