A method of obtaining a high purity immunoglobulin preparation from an antibody rich colostrum which includes: (i) removing milk fat from the colostrum to obtain a low-fat colostrum (ii) pasteurising the low-fat colostrum (iii) coagulating the pasteurised low- fat colostrum and removing milk curd containing casein; (iv) centrifuging remaining liquid to remove percipitates; (v) removing lactose, minerals and water to obtain an antibody containing fraction; (vi) dissolving the antibody containing fraction in THRESH buffer and idolizing against the same buffer, and (vii) concentrating the antibody containing solution to obtain a 10 % by weight antibody solution. A pharmaceutical composition including a core element which includes an active antibody component derived by the above method, wherein the core element is in the form of a tablet, and wherein the compression forces used to prepare the tablet are such that they do not injure or denature the active antibodies.
L'invention porte sur un procédé d'obtention de préparations à base d'immunoglobulines de haute pureté à partir de colostrum riche en anticorps comportant les étapes suivantes: (i) extraire la graisse du lait de façon à obtenir un colostrum pauvre en graisses; (ii) pasteuriser ce dernier; (iii) coaguler le colostrum pauvre en graisses pasteurisé; (iv) centrifuger le liquide résiduel et en extraire les précipités; (v) retirer le lactose, les minéraux et l'eau de façon à obtenir la fraction contenant les anticorps; (vi) dissoudre la fraction contenant les anticorps dans un tampon THRESH et ioder ledit tampon; (vii) concentrer la solution contenant les anticorps pour obtenir une solution à 10 % en poids d'anticorps. L'invention porte également sur une préparation pharmaceutique consistant en un noyau incluant un anticorps actif obtenu par le susdit procédé dont le noyau se présente sous forme de comprimés préparés avec une force de compression calculée pour ne pas endommager ou dénaturer les anticorps actifs.
