The invention relates to a device for gradual cross-feeding of elongate objects, comprising a stationary support frame (2), which in profile is stepped in at least two sections (1, 1', 1'') which are arranged in separate planes with an upper sliding and supporting surface (8) and a step front edge (4) in the feeding direction, and a feeding arrangement, which is also stepped in profile and has one section less than the number of sections in the support frame and the sections of which each have at least two upper sliding and supporting surfaces (7) extended in the feeding direction and a step front edge (6) in the feeding direction. The upper sliding and supporting surfaces (7) of the feeding arrangement (5) in one section are vertically positioned at a level below the sliding and supporting surfaces (8) of the support frame in the corresponding section but at a level above the sliding and supporting surfaces of the support frame in a subsequent section. The feeding arrangement (5) is reciprocatable by means of a power generating means (11) along the support frame (5) to effect the feeding of the objects by alternating engagement of the objects between the step front edges (4, 6) of the support frame (2) and the feeding arrangement (5). The feeding arrangement (5), as well as the objects, is supported on the supporting surfaces (8) of the support frame (2) and is reciprocatable along these.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'alimentation croisée graduelle d'objets longs. Ce dispositif comprend un cadre support fixe (2) dont le profil en gradins comporte au moins deux sections (1, 1', 1'') placées dans des plans distincts. Chacune de ces sections est dotée d'une surface supérieure glissante de pose (8) et, dans le sens d'alimentation, d'un bord frontal (4) en gradin. Le dispositif comprend également un système d'alimentation (5) ayant également un profil en gradins et possédant une section de moins que le cadre support. Les sections de ce système ont chacune au moins deux surfaces supérieures glissantes de pose (7) s'étendant dans le sens d'alimentation et un bord frontal (6) en gradin dans le sens d'alimentation. Les surfaces supérieures de pose (7) d'une section du système d'alimentation (5) sont placées à un niveau inférieur, dans le sens vertical, à celui des surfaces supérieures de pose (8) du cadre support de la section correspondante mais à un niveau supérieur à celui des surfaces de pose du cadre support de la section suivante. Le système d'alimentation (5) peut être avancé et reculé le long du cadre support (5) à l'aide d'un moyen générateur de force (11) qui agit alternativement sur les bords frontaux (4, 6) en gradins du cadre support (2) et du système d'alimentation (5) afin d'assurer l'alimentation en objets. Le système d'alimentation et les objets sont portés par les surfaces de pose (8) du cadre support (2) et sont avancés et reculés le long de ces surfaces.
