To provide an air bag support belt storing structure preferable for an air bag mounted on a motorcycle. Support belts connecting a vehicle body of a motorcycle and an air bag are stored in storing spaces which are provided on the left and right sides on the rear side of an air bag module composed of a module cover and a casing and which extend in the vehicle body front-rear direction. At one side on the inner side in the vehicle width direction of each belt cover is provided not only with a fitting portion formed in a pawl-like shape but also with a cover stay fixed to the vehicle body side penetratingly by a clip, thereby ensuring that the belt cover is less liable to be disengaged at normal time. On the other hand, at the time of inflation of the air bag, a brittle portion provided at a clip hole of the cover stay is ruptured when a predetermined pulling load is exerted thereon, resulting in that the belt cover is developed, with its one side on the outer side in the vehicle width direction as an axis. The opening strength of the belt covers can be regulated by modifying the strength of the brittle portions.
