An apparatus, and the methods therefore, that automatically detects, elaborates and interprets the geometry of a container (2) and of one or more of the contained articles (3), and supplies and inserts, automatically, packaging material into the container in a suitable manner and amount. The apparatus comprises one or more sensors (6) for measuring the geometric profile of the container (2) and of the contained articles (3). The apparatus comprises in addition processing means (14) that acquire the measurement data of the geometric profile and elaborates packaging instructions. The apparatus comprises also devices for the dispensing (42) and insertion (43) of packaging material into the container (2). The apparatus can be equipped with a conveying device (4) for transporting the containers to the measuring sensor (6) and to the dispensing device (42) and insertion means (43) of the packaging material.
L'invention concerne un appareil, et des procédés associés. Lappareil détecte, élabore et interprète automatiquement la géométrie d'un récipient (2) et d'un ou de plusieurs des articles (3) contenus, et fournit et insère, de façon automatique, un matériau d'emballage dans le récipient d'une manière adaptée et dans une quantité adaptée. L'appareil comprend un ou plusieurs capteurs (6) pour mesurer le profil géométrique du récipient (2) et des articles (3) contenus. L'appareil comprend également un moyen de traitement (14) qui acquiert les données de mesure du profil géométrique et élabore des instructions d'emballage. L'appareil comprend également des dispositifs pour la distribution (42) et l'insertion (43) du matériau d'emballage dans le récipient (2). L'appareil peut être équipé d'un dispositif de transport (4) pour transporter les récipients jusqu'au capteur de mesure (6) et jusqu'au dispositif de distribution (42) et au moyen d'insertion (43) du matériau d'emballage.
