ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A lifting platform adapted to be fixed to the frame surrounding the rear of a truck body, comprises two guiding rails vertically fixed on each side of the rear opening of the truck body in which are adapted to slide two guided plates. A set of pulleys fixed to the guiding rails and the guided plates and interconnected by a cable actuated by a winch allows the guided plates to vertically move inside the guiding rails. A transversal bar is secured to each guided plates is provided with two longitudinal elevating arms which are adapted to support a load. The elevating arms can move from a level adjacent the ground to a level slightly below the roof of the truck body by the actuation of the winch.
