ABSTRACT The invention relates to a fibre-optic component. It includes an optical fibre, the core of which is composed of a material which becomes light-amplifying by optical pumping. It further includes means for production of the pumping wave in the form of a variable interference field including strata over at least a part of the core of the optical fibre. This component permits the extraction and the injection of a selected fraction of the luminous flux guided by the fibre.
