ABSTRACT The flush pipe is to be attached at the top to a flush tank and at the bottom to a toilet bowl. If the flush pipe is used to draw off odor, a sealing element (7) is cut out of one of the two connecting pieces (3) along a wall area (7a) having reduced wall thickness. An exhaust line is welded to this connecting piece (3) or attached with an insert sleeve. The flush pipe can also be used for a water-closet installation without odor exhaust.
