A harness for testing a throttle position sensor (22) having wires operatively connected therein terminating in a connector (20). The harness comprises a card (24) and a first cable of multiple wires (26) hard-wired to the card at one end and terminating in a connector (32) at the other. The connector of the first cable is removably connectable to the throttle position sensor connector. The card further comprises a second cable of multiple wires (34) hard-wired to the card at one end and operably attached to a connector (40) at another end. The connector of the second cable is a mate for the connector (32) of the first cable. At least two terminals are mounted on the card and connected between the wires of the first and second cables for connecting the card to a digital volt/ohm meter.

On décrit un faisceau permettant de tester un capteur de position (22) du papillon des gaz et qui comprend des fils fonctionnellement reliés aboutissant à un connecteur (20). Il comporte une carte (24), ainsi qu'un premier câble constitué de fils multiples (26) et relié à la carte au niveau de l'une de ses extrémités et aboutissant à un connecteur (32) au niveau de son autre extrémité. Le connecteur du premier câble peut être relié amovible au connecteur du capteur de position du papillon des gaz. La carte comprend en outre un second câble constitué de fils multiples (34) et relié au niveau de l'une de ses extrémités à la carte et fonctionnellement relié à un connecteur (40) au niveau de son autre extrémité. Le connecteur du second câble s'adapte sur le connecteur (32) du premier câble. Au moins deux bornes sont montées sur la carte et reliées entre les fils du premier et du second câble, afin de connecter la carte à un voltmètre/ohmmètre numérique.
