The invention relates to a method for the immobilization of acidic or electrophilic compounds in a solution. The method is characterized in that it consists in bringing a cross-linked polyimine into contact with said compounds, said polyimine being insoluble in the medium wherein the imino groups are -NH- groups. The modified polyimine thus obtained is then separated by means of filtration. The cross-linked polyimine comprises linear segments made up of -HN-R?1¿-NH-R?2¿-Ar-R?3¿- units wherein R?1¿, R?2¿ and R?3¿ are alkylene ou alkenylene groups which are identical or different, and Ar represents an aromatic group. The method is used to fix undesired compounds or to purify acidic compounds.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour immobiliser des composés acides ou électrophiles dans une solution. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à mettre en contact avec lesdits composés une polyimine réticulée insoluble dans le milieu, dans laquelle les groupes imino sont des groupes -NH- , puis à séparer par filtration la polyimine modifiée obtenue. La polyimine réticulée comprend des segments linéaires constitués par des unités -HN-R1-NH- R2-Ar-R3- dans lesquelles R1, R2 et R3 sont des groupes alkylène ou alkénylène identi~ques ou différents, et Ar représente un groupe aromatique. Le procédé est utile pour fixer des composés indésirables ou par purifier des composés acides.
