A convertible dinette/bed assembly for motor home vans is disclosed. The assembly includes a pair of seat sections arranged along respective interior side walls of the motor home van. A tabletop portion is removably supported between the seat sections and above the seat surfaces of the seat section to define a dinette arrangement. Support rails are mounted to the seat sections for carrying the tabletop portion such that the tabletop portion extends between the seat sections and is generally coplanar with the upper surfaces of the seat sections. In this condition, the assembly defines a twin bed arrangement.
