A mobile agent computing system comprising at least one computer (10) having a communications port (12) running a host program (70) for facilitating execution of a mobile program (50) received via the port (12), the mobile program (50) including identification data indicative of its type, identity or origin, in which the host program (70) is arranged to test the mobile program for the possible presence of code which is inconsistent with the agent identification data, and to prevent execution of said inconsistent code.
L'invention concerne un système informatique à agent mobile comprenant au moins un ordinateur (10) comportant un port de communication (12), exécutant un programme hôte (70) pour faciliter l'exécution d'un programme mobile (50) reçu par l'intermédiaire du port (12), ledit programme mobile (50) comprenant des données d'identification indiquant son type, son identité ou son origine. Ce système se caractérise en ce que le programme hôte (70) est conçu pour tester le programme mobile afin de détecter la présence éventuelle d'un code inconsistant avec les données d'identification d'agent et pour empêcher l'exécution dudit code inconsistant.
