The present invention provides a method for the generation of novel libraries of encoded magnetic particles from sub-libraries by the generation of novel sub-libraries of magnetic nanoparticles and encoded particles. The sub- libraries, which are functionalized on demand, are useful in the formation of arrays. The present invention is especially useful for performing multiplexed (parallel) assays for qualitative and/or quantitative analysis of binding interactions of a number of analyte molecules in a sample.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour générer de nouvelles bibliothèques de particules magnétiques codées à partir de sous-bibliothèques par la génération de nouvelles sous-bibliothèques de nanoparticules magnétiques et de particules codées. Les sous-bibliothèques, qui sont fonctionnalisées selon les nécessités, servent à la formation de séries. La présente invention est particulièrement utile pour réaliser des dosages multiplex (parallèles) destinés à l'analyse qualitative et/ou quantitative d'interactions de liaison d'un certain nombre de molécules d'analyte dans un échantillon.
