The invention relates to a transgenic non-human animal cell expressing at least one transgene coding for at least one reporter protein, characterized in that the expression of said reporter protein is correlated to the expression of at least one protein which is naturally produced by said cell and which is specific for a type of polarization of the immune response and/or an effector function of the immune response. The invention also relates to a corresponding transgenic animal. According to the invention, the cell and the transgenic animal can be used in a method for characterizing the type of immune response, i.e. Th1 and Th 2, caused by an immunogene, a pathogen or chemical agent.
La présente invention concerne une cellule animale transgénique non humaine exprimant au moins un transgène codant pour au moins une protéine rapporteuse, caractérisée en ce que l'expression de ladite protéine rapporteuse est corrélée à l'expression d'au moins une protéine naturellement produite par ladite cellule et spécifique d'un type de polarisation de la réponse immune et/ou d'une fonction effectrice de la réponse immune. L'invention porte également sur l'animal transgénique correspondant. La cellule et l'animal transgénique selon l'invention peuvent être mise en oeuvre dans un procédé pour caractériser le type de réponse immune, notamment Th1 et Th2, induite par un immunogène, un agent pathogène ou agent chimique.
