-19- ABSTRACT A structure 20 for supporting floor panels wherein a plurality of supporting legs 4 are disposed and secured on the base floor 3, each of said supporting legs includes a supporting column 7, adjacent supporting legs are connected by means of a stringer 15, floor panels 2 to be supported by the stringers are secured by means of the panel retainer 17, top end of the supporting column 7 is secured to the stringer 15, and the bottom end of the supporting column 7 provides a rhamen structure in which the bottom end is pin-connected to a base plate 5. Floor panels 2 are supported at their periphery 2c by means of supporting elements 19 mounted integrally on the stringers 15, so that the vertical load to be applied to the floor panels 2 are transferred to the stringers 15 through the supporting elements 19. Consequently, the deformation of the flange portion 2b of the floor panels can be avoided, and the floor panels are supported under stable condition.
