A B S T R A C T A back-filling bag 38 comprises a tube of woven textile fabric material, at least one end 40 of the tube being closed e.g. by sewing or tying or binding, to form the bag 38. The tube of the bag 38 can be continuous seamless tube 10 according o the invention, manufactured by the method according to the invention. Instead, the continuous seamless tube of the back- filling bag 38 can be a tube which has been manufactured on a conventional shuttle weaving machine, which employs self-made turn-around edges joining the panels of the woven textile fabric material to form a tube. The woven textile fabric material of the tube 10 of the bag 38 comprises flat or non-bulked low twist, multifilament weft yarn.
