This invention relates to the field of miniaturing gas chromatograph instruments using microfabrication technologies. In particular, the invention provides a gas chromatograph column, which column comprises at least two lid layers and a channel layer, wherein each of said layers comprises a compact material suitable for gas chromatograph, said channel layer comprises microfabricated channels on both sides, said microfabricated channels and a side of said lid layers form at least two capillaries, said at least two capillaries are connected to each other through a hole in said channel layer to form an integrated capillary, said integrated capillary is connected to outside atmosphere on both ends via holes on two outmost lid layers to serve as an inlet and an outlet.
La présente invention concerne la miniaturisation des instruments de chromatographie en phase gazeuse au moyen des technologies de microfabrication. Plus particulièrement, cette invention concerne une colonne chromatographique en phase gazeuse comprenant au moins deux couches de couverture et une couche canal, chacune de ces couches comprenant un matériau compact convenant à un chromatographe en phase gazeuse. La couche canal comprend des canaux micro-usinés sur les deux faces; ces canaux micro-usinés et une face des couches de couverture forment au moins deux capillaires. Ces capillaires sont reliés les uns aux autres par l'intermédiaire d'un trou ménagé dans la couche canal de manière à former un capillaire intégré, lequel est relié à l'atmosphère extérieur aux deux extrémités par l'intermédiaire de trous ménagés dans les couches de couverture les plus extérieures de manière à servir d'orifice d'amenée et d'orifice d'évacuation.
