- 8 - ABSTRACT An application for liquid ophthalmic solution is provided which has a laterally protruding spout and a resiliently flexible wall portion. Application of ophthalmic solution to the eye is performed by placing the tip of the nozzle on the lower eyelid and by applying pressure to the flexible wall portion, whereupon the ophthalmic solution flows directly into the eye.
