An apparatus for releasably holding a tubular toolholder shank (45) by axially reciprocating a lock rod (95) between a locked and unlocked position. The lock rod (95) is reciprocated using a rotatable cam (150). The rotatable cam (150) activates a preloaded spring (200) to generate a force securing the lock rod (95) in the locked position. The rotatable cam (150) includes a non-cylindrical cam post (160) to minimize a kickback force that may be caused by the preloaded spring (200) on the cam post (160) as the lock rod (95) is moved from the locked to the unlocked position.
Appareil permettant de maintenir de manière libérable la queue tubulaire d'un porte-outil (45) par déplacement axialement d'une tige de blocage (95) entre une position de verrouillage et une position de déverrouillage. Ladite tige de blocage (95) est actionnée par une came tournante (150) qui agit sur un ressort préchargé (200) pour produire une force qui pousse la tige (95) en position de verrouillage. La came tournante (150) est montée sur un arbre non cylindrique (160), ce qui réduit les rebonds éventuels causés par l'action du ressort préchargé (200) sur l'axe de la came (160) lorsque la tige (95) passe de la position de verrouillage à la position de déverrouillage.
