ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hydrodynamic torque converter comprises an input shaft, first and second output shafts, an impeller driven by the input shaft, primary and secondary turbines arranged to drive the first and second output shafts respectively, a stator, and first and second clutch elements arranged to provide a direct drive to the first and second output shafts from the input shaft of the torque converter.
