This invention is a system for making multi-site skin tests primarily for use by allergists making use of a multi-head applicator (5) and a matching multi-well dip well tray (30). The applicator (5) has an elongated handle with arms extending transversely from opposite sides having downwardly extending legs terminating in multi-pointed ends, or heads capable of picking up and retaining small quantities of liquid skin test substances. The multi-point ends or heads occupy the same plane and are arrayed in a pattern suited for simultaneous making multi-site skin tests. The applicator (5) cooperates with a multi-well dip well tray (30), and with a plurality of dip wells (33) arrayed in patterns which match the pattern in which the multi-pointed ends or heads on the cooperating applicator (5) are arrayed.
La présente invention concerne un système permettant d'effectuer des tests cutanés en des emplacements multiples, essentiellement destiné à être utilisé par des allergologues et qui se compose d'un applicateur (5) à têtes multiples et d'un plateau correspondant (30) à coupelles de trempage multiples. L'applicateur (5) comprend un manche allongé muni de bras s'étendant transversalement depuis des côtés opposés, lesquels bras comportent des branches plongeantes qui se terminent par des extrémités ou têtes à pointes multiples capables de recueillir ou de retenir de petites quantités de substance liquide pour test cutané. Les extrémités ou têtes à pointes multiples, qui se trouvent dans un même plan, sont disposées en rangées selon une configuration permettant d'effectuer des tests cutanés simultanés en des emplacements multiples. L'applicateur (5) coopère avec un plateau (30) à coupelles de trempage multiples dont les nombreuses coupelles de trempage (33) sont disposées en rangées selon une configuration correspondant à celle des extrémités ou têtes à pointes multiples de l'applicateur (5).
