The invention relates to a process for continuously producing hydrogen peroxide comprising the steps of feeding hydrogen and oxygen containing gas to a reactor (1) provided with a catalyst; contacting the hydrogen and oxygen gas (4) with the catalyst and thereby forming hydrogen peroxide, and; withdrawing hydrogen peroxide containing gas from the reactor; wherein the catalyst comprises a solid catalytically active material at least partially covered with a layer of a stationary phase different from the catalytically active material.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de production continu de peroxyde d'hydrogène, ce procédé consistant à amener le gaz contenant l'hydrogène et l'oxygène dans un réacteur (1) pourvu d'un catalyseur; mettre en contact le gaz (4) contenant l'hydrogène et l'oxygène avec le catalyseur de façon à produire le peroxyde d'hydrogène, et retirer le gaz contenant le peroxyde d'hydrogène du réacteur. Le catalyseur comprend un matériau catalytiquement actif, solide, recouvert au moins partiellement d'une couche d'une phase stationnaire différente du matériau catalytiquement actif.
