The invention relates to an address conversion process for porting an APP telecommunications application from the TCP/IP network to the OSI/CO network and an address conversion module used in this process. On an ongoing basis, access to the networks is authorized through a socket (SOC) interface for the TCP/IP network and an XTI interface for the OSI-CO network. In a remarkable manner calls from the socket interface (SC), as well as a plurality of system calls (SY), are first routed, at the time of the link editing phase before receiving the executable, to a bookstore type automatic address conversion module (W). This module (W) then converts the TCP/IP network addresses to OSI-CO network addresses and allows the change from TCP/IP protocol to OSI-CO protocol. Following conversion, calls are transmitted to the XTI interface and can be used directly in the OSI-CO network. Only calls to the TCP/IP network are processed, and all other calls (NT) are sent back to the system.
L'invention concerne un procédé de conversion d'adressage pour le portage d'uneapplication de télécommunication APP du réseau TCP/IP sur le réseau OSI-CO ainsi qu'un module de conversion d'adressage utilisé dans ce procédé. De manière connue, l'accès aux réseaux est autorisé par l'intermédiaire d'une interface "socket" (SOC) pour le réseau TCP/IP et d'une interface "XTI" pour le réseau OSI-CO. De manière remarquable les appels (SC) de l'interface "socket" sont, ainsi qu'une pluralité d'appels système (SY), dans un premier temps orientés, au moment de laphase d'édition de liens avant l'obtention de l'exécutable, vers un module (W) de conversion automatique d'adressage du genre librairie. Ce module (W) réalise alors la conversion des adresses propres au réseau TCP/IP en adresses du réseau OSI-CO et permet le passage du protocole TCP/IP vers le protocole OSI-CO. Après conversion les appels sont transmis vers l'interface "XTI" et peuvent êtredirectement exploités dans le réseau OSI-CO. Seuls les appels destinés au réseau TCP/IP sont traités, tout autre appel (NT) est renvoyé vers le système.
