2093430 9207633 PCTABS00013 Tennis lanes are disclosed which comprise a plurality of pie-shaped lanes (3, 5, 9, 11, 13, 15) forming a circle or a semi-circle configuration. The lanes are substantially triangular in shape. The tennis lanes define upright-side targets (11) positioned to indicate if a hit tennis ball would be in or out of a tennis court. The lanes provide a central target (14) area, simulating a standard net (30), top band of the net and area above the net. A tennis net is connected between two sidewall support posts (6) to simulate the area in a normal court. Each tennis lane is separated from other lanes by sidewalls (7, 9). Each lane is equipped with a tennis ball-throwing device (16) and a device for automatically collecting balls. A net (37) covers the top of the tennis lanes. It is desirable to have a removable top net (37) to prevent tennis balls from traveling to other lanes.
