The invention relates to a method for operating a wireless telecommunications device which comprises at least one base station and at least one mobile part (PT). The mobile part (PT) has a control loop (RK) for independently controlling the transmitter power according to special information (A-/X-CRC) which is transmitted on the side of the base station and/or for controlling the receiving field strength (FSW) of the base station transmitted signal. A protocol-oriented, standardized information and message exchange is carried out between the base station and the mobile part (PT) over a common air interface. According to the invention, the at least one base station transmits administration procedures (RFP status signal) over the common air interface. Said administration procedures are retrieved by the mobile part (PT) which is located in the reception area. A piece of additional status information contained in the administration procedures is recognized by a microcontroller (MIC) by reverting to a bit which is free up to now. From this, said microcontroller derives a control signal (AS). The transmitter power control (RK) can be activated and deactivated on the side of the base station with the assistance of said control signal (AS).

Selon l'invention, la ou les stations de base émettent, par l'intermédiaire de l'interface radio, des procédures d'administration (signal d'état RFP) qui sont prises en charge par la partie mobile (PT) se trouvant dans la zone de réception. Une information d'état complémentaire contenue dans les procédures d'administration, par régression à un bit libre jusqu'ici, est reconnue au moyen d'un microcontrôleur (MIC) qui en dérive un signal de commande (AS). A l'aide de ce signal de commande (AS), la régulation de la puissance d'émission (RK) peut être activée ou désactivée côté station de base.
