A system and method for implementing services in an intelligent network of a telecommunications system (10). Upon registration of a subscriber station (8) in a mobile telecommunications network, a plurality of triggers associated with the subscriber are downloaded to a switch (12) that is handling the call. Subsequently, a trigger condition is detected at the switch, and a query signal (36, 56, 92) is sent to a server (70, 80) storing data for responding to the trigger condition. In response to the query signal, a bundle of platform independent code comprising instructions for executing a particular service is downloaded (126, 128) to the switch. The code is executed at the switch to implement the particular service, and appropriate actions are taken in accordance with the implemented service.
Cette invention se rapporte à un système et à un procédé de mise en oeuvre de services dans un réseau intelligent d'un système de télécommunications (10). Après enregistrement d'une station d'abonné (8) dans un réseau de télécommunications mobiles, plusieurs déclencheurs associés à l'abonné en question sont téléchargés dans un commutateur (12) qui gère l'appel. L'état du déclencheur est ensuite détecté au niveau du commutateur et un signal de requête (36, 56, 92) est envoyé à un serveur (70, 80) dans lequel sont mémorisées les données destinées à fournir une réponse à l'état du déclencheur. En réponse à ce signal de requête, un faisceau d'instructions comprenant un code indépendant de la plate-forme et destinées à l'exécution d'un service particulier est téléchargé (126, 128) dans le commutateur. Le code est exécuté au niveau du commutateur pour la mise en oeuvre du service particulier et des actions appropriées sont entreprises en fonction du service mis en oeuvre.
