Process for the production of condensation products of organosilicon compounds having at least one silicon-bonded hydroxyl group. The process, which comprises contacting the organosilicon compound with a quaternary ammonium borate, -phosphate, -carbonate or -silicate, may be employed, for example, for the polymerisation of .alpha.,.omega. silanol-terminated polydiorganosiloxanes and for the production of organosiloxanes having organo-functional e.g. aminoalkyl groups.

Méthode pour l'obtention de produits de condensation de composés organosiliciés renfermant au moins un groupe hydroxyle lié au silicium. La méthode, qui consiste à mettre en contact le composé organosilicié avec un borate, phosphate, carbonate ou silicate d'ammonium quaternaire, est employée par exemple pour la polymérisation de polydiorganosiloxanes terminés par du silanol en alpha,oméga, et pour la production d'organosiloxanes possédant des groupes organiques fonctionnels, p. ex. des groupes aminoalkyles.
