ABSTRACT For mounting venetians, mounting hardware has been located either on the top or ends of the venetian headrails. In either mounting application, the venetian mounting hardware has been visible. In this invention, the mounting hardware for venetians is not visible. A venetian bracket has been developed which uses: two locking extensions to mate with a specially designed venetian headrail; a release tab that can be engaged without special tools; and an elongated slot to place a screw for screwing the bracket to the window frame which permits installation of venetian blinds in window frames with a depth as little as 1/2 of an inch.
