A gripping device (10) is operative within a body vessel which includes an elongate, flexible support body (12) having a plurality of spaced gripping members (22) attached to the support body to extend axially outwardly from the outer end thereof. The gripping members are formed to have an expansion position where they angle laterally from the support body. A cone shaped flexible liner (34) forming an open ended enclosure in the expansion position of the gripping members has an outer end connected to the distal ends (26) of the gripping members, and an inner end connected to the support body. The flexible liner is surrounded by the gripping members.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif de préhension (10) destiné à être utilisé dans un vaisseau biologique et qui comprend un corps (12) support flexible, allongé, auquel est fixée une pluralité d'éléments (22) de préhension espacés qui s'étendent axialement vers l'extérieur à partir de l'extrémité externe du corps. Les éléments de préhension sont conçus de façon à prendre une position d'extension lorsqu'ils forment un angle de manière latérale à partir du corps support. Un revêtement (34) flexible, en forme de cône, et formant une enceinte à extrémité ouverte lorsque les éléments de préhension sont en position d'extension, comporte une extrémité externe raccordée aux extrémités (26) distales des éléments de préhension et une extrémité interne raccordée au corps support. Le revêtement flexible est entouré des éléments de préhension.
