The wastewater treatment unit is operable under high intermittent flow rate variations. It comprises a first clarifier followed by a second clarifier including a network of parallel plates inclined with respect to the vertical and a collecting pit. Each plate has an upper edge positioned at a height lower than the filling level of the first clarifier to define an overflow giving access to the collecting pit. A filtering chamber is positioned above the first clarifier and comprises a biomass for further treating the wastewater coming from the second clarifier. The filtering chamber has an outlet in fluid communication with the inlet of the first clarifier for recirculation purposes. The unit also comprises a third clarifier for further treating wastewater coming from a second outlet of the second clarifier and an outflow controller located at the outlet of the third clarifier.
Unité d'épuration des eaux usées fonctionnant sous des variations élevées de débit à fonctionnement intermittent. Elle comprend un premier clarificateur suivi d'une deuxième clarificateur comprenant un réseau de plaques parallèles inclinées par rapport à la verticale et une fosse de réception. Chaque plaque comprend un bord supérieur placé à une hauteur inférieure à celle du niveau de remplissage du premier clarificateur pour définir un débordement donnant accès à la fosse de réception. Une chambre de filtrage est placée au-dessus du premier clarificateur et comprend de la biomasse pour un traitement ultérieur des eaux usées venant du deuxième clarificateur. La chambre de filtrage comprend une sortie en communication libre avec l'entrée du premier clarificateur de façon à procéder au recyclage. L'unité comporte également un troisième clarificateur pour un traitement ultérieur des eaux usées venant d'une deuxième sortie du deuxième clarificateur et un contrôleur de débordement situé à la sortie du troisième clarificateur.
