The invention relates to a method for measuring and regulating curl in a paper or board web, in which method the curl of the paper or board web (W) is regulated. In the method, in connection with the manufacture of the paper or board web (W), the paper or board web is slit or cut, the rising/lowering (H) of the edges of a slit/cut gap (C) formed at the slitting/cutting point or the width (L) of the gap is measured by means of a measurement device (21A; 21B; 21C), and the curl of the paper or board web (W) is regulated based on the result of measurement. The invention also relates to a paper or board machine line which comprises sections for the manufacture of a paper or board web (W), which paper or board machine line comprises a means or means for regulating curl in the web (W). The paper or board machine line comprises means for slitting or cutting the paper or board web and for measuring the rising/lowering (H) of the edges of a slit/cut gap (C) formed at the slitting/cutting point or the width (L) of the slit/cut gap (C) in connection with the manufacture of the web (W) in order to regulate the curl of the web (W) based on the result of measurement.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de mesure et de régulation du tuilage d'une bande (W) de papier ou de carton permettant de le corriger. Selon ce procédé et dans le cadre de la fabrication de la bande (W), cette dernière est fendue ou coupée et on mesure à l'aide d'un dispositif (21A;21B;21C) approprié la hauteur (H) de soulèvement ou d'abaissement des bords de la fente ou de la coupure ou la largeur (L) de la fente, puis on corrige le tuilage à l'aide de ces mesures. L'invention porte également sur la ligne de fabrication d'une machine à papier ou à carton produisant des bandes (W) et comprenant un ou des moyens de correction de leur tuilage incluant des moyens pour fendre ou couper la bande (W), et des moyens de mesure de la hauteur (H) de soulèvement ou de l'abaissement des bords de la fente ou de la coupure (C) ou de la largeur (L) de la fente, dans le cadre de la fabrication de la bande (W), et corrigeant le tuilage à l'aide des mesures ainsi obtenues.
