This invention provides owners of swimming pools a floating aluminum frame assembly that will support the pool cover to eliminate water accumulation and make opening your pool less work. The assembly varies by type of pool from round above ground pools, the oval or rectangular pools. For a round above ground pool it consists of an aluminum central hub that connects in a spider like fashion to eight legs that span out to the sides. These legs float on the surface of the water. Four of the legs are connected in a cross style fashion to another central hub for added support. Owners of the pool close their pool for the season in the same fashion and use their existing pool cover over the top of the structure. The main advantages are: .cndot. Eliminated stagnant water collection on the top of the pool. With concerns over West Nile Virus this is a positive. .cndot. Ease to open the pool in the spring season. .cndot. Utilizes existing pool cover and increases life. .cndot. Creates a safer more secure pool as it's hard to fall into a raised structure. The entire structure is assembled with pins for ease of installation. All poles that span from the center to the sides are connected in the center for strength. While the structure is incredibly strong and secure, it becomes even stronger once the pool water freezes for the winter season. The Floating Pool Cover Support System is very easy to assemble and to disassemble. Configurations are available for all pools.
