A non-particulate detergent product is provided. The product includes a core (10) formed by compressing a particulate material comprising a detersive surfactant and a builder. The core (10) is compressed into a tubular configuration having a polygonal cross section and a plurality of surfaces meeting to form a plurality of edges, thereby forming a contoured core (10), wherein at least one of the plurality of edges is chamfered (20). The non- particulate detergent product further includes a coating (12) which substantially covers the contoured core (10).
L'invention concerne un produit détergent non particulaire, qui inclut un noyau (10) formé par compression d'une matière particulaire contenant un tensioactif détersif et un adjuvant. Ce noyau (10) est comprimé en une configuration tubulaire ayant une section transversale polygonale et plusieurs surfaces qui se rejoignent pour constituer une pluralité de rives et former ainsi un noyau profilé (10), au moins une desdites rives étant chanfreinée (20). Le produit détergent non particulaire inclut en outre un enduit (12) qui recouvre sensiblement le noyau profilé (10).
