Plate, more particularly a separator plate, provided with fluid channels which are designed as grooves. These fluid channels open out into continuous inlet or outlet openings. In the vicinity of the location where they open into the inlet or outlet, there is a cover for the groove or grooves, in order to provide a sealing surface with an adjoining part of a fuel cell stack. According to the invention, this cover consists of the same material as the plate in question. On the "undesirable", this cover is designed as a recess. If appropriate, a further opening may be present between the recess and the end of the grooves.
L'invention se rapporte à une plaque, plus particulièrement à une plaque séparatrice, qui comporte des canaux pour fluide se présentant sous la forme de rainures. Ces canaux pour fluide débouchent sur des ouvertures d'entrée et de sortie continues. Au voisinage de la région où ces canaux débouchent dans l'entrée ou la sortie, la(les) rainure(s) est(sont) dotée(s) d'un couvercle de manière à constituer une surface d'étanchéité avec une partie adjacente d'un empilement de cellules à combustible. Conformément à l'invention, le couvercle est fabriqué dans le même matériau que la plaque en question. Sur sa partie inférieure, le couvercle se présente comme un évidement. Si nécessaire, une autre ouverture peut être ménagée entre l'évidement et l'extrémité des rainures.
