The invention relates to a sealing assembly (1) for prosthetic shafts, comprising at least one sealing lip (7) that projects radially outwards, said lip, together with a support, defining an annular gap. The annular gap is ventilated by the external atmosphere, in such a way that a pressure gradient develops on the sealing lip (7), said gradient forcing the sealing lip (7) against the prosthetic shaft by means of an increasing negative pressure.
