A flexible, integrally formed tie strip for forming a loop when passed through itself comprises a plurality of identical cells formed in a strip, the cells forming generally loop-shaped enclosed apertures (10) bounded by wall portions of the cells, each aperture allowing the passage of further cells through it. The cells are further provided with one or more latching members (11) allowing passage of one cell through another in one direction but preventing passage of the cell in the reverse direction. The walls (9) bounding the apertures can be folded to a saddle shape about radial and longitudinal axes, so as to increase the width of the aperture without stretching the material of the walls, thereby facilitating the passage of a penetrating cell through the aperture of another cell. Moreover the penetrating cell is designed to fold so as to pass through still more easily. This three-dimensional deformation is promoted by a notch (15) in the rear of each aperture wall.

L'invention concerne une courroie d'attache souple et monobloc permettant de former une boucle en la faisant passer à travers elle-même et comprenant une pluralité de cellules identiques formant une bande, les cellules forment généralement des ouvertures en forme de boucle (10) entourées de parties de paroi des cellules, chaque ouverture permettant le passage d'autres cellules. Les cellules sont dotées d'un ou plusieurs éléments de blocage (11) permettant le passage d'une cellule à travers une autre dans un sens mais évitant le passage de ladite cellule dans le sens inverse. Les parois (9) entourant les ouvertures peuvent être pliées en forme de sabot autour d'axes radiaux et longitudinaux de manière à augmenter la largeur d'ouverture sans allonger la matière formant les parois, et ce dans le but de faciliter le passage d'une cellule de pénétration à travers l'ouverture d'une autre cellule. Par ailleurs, la cellule de pénétration est conçue de manière à se plier afin de passer encore plus facilement à travers l'ouverture. Cette déformation tridimensionnelle est favorisée par une encoche ménagée à l'arrière de chaque paroi d'ouverture.
