A method for signaling code and time slot assignments to support a communication of a user in a wireless hybrid TDMA/CDMA communication system supporting wireless RF communications, comprising: at the transmitter: selecting at least one time slot; selecting at least one code, and if more than one code is selected, selecting consecutive codes from the predetermined sequence; and signaling an identifier of the at least one time slot and a first and last code of the consecutive codes.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de signalement de code et d'attribution d'intervalles de temps afin de soutenir une communication d'un utilisateur dans un système de communication TDMA/CDMA hybride sans fil soutenant des communications RF sans fil. Ce procédé consiste, au niveau du transmetteur, 1) à choisir au moins un intervalle de temps, 2) à choisir au moins un code, et si plus d'un code est choisi, à choisir plusieurs codes consécutifs parmi les séquences prédéterminées (54, 56), et 3) à signaler un identificateur d'au moins un intervalle de temps et un premier et dernier codes de codes consécutifs (58).
