ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A skate blade made in accordance with the present invention is used with a skate boot having a bottom blade mount. The blade itself comprises an upper blade portion which is securable with the blade mount and a lower blade portion comprising multiple blade edges separated from one another by a recessed region between each blade edge. The provision of the multiple blade edges allows the skate to be used on different types of off ice surfaces such as hard packed snow and the like.
