The instant invention comprises a process for the solid phase synthesis of directed epitope peptide mixtures useful in the treatment and diagnosis of protein conformational disorders, such process defined by a set of rules regarding the identity and the frequency of occurrence of amino acids that substitute a base or native amino acid of a known epitope. The resulting composition is a mixture of related peptides for therapeutic use. The invention also pertains to the process of generating antibodies using the directed epitope peptide mixtures as the antigens, and antibodies generated by such process, useful in the treatment and diagnostics of the said protein conformational disorder.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la synthèse en phase solide de mélanges peptidiques dépitopes dirigés utiles dans le traitement et le diagnostic de troubles liés aux modifications conformationnelles des protéines, un tel procédé étant défini par un ensemble de règles concernant lidentité et la fréquence de la présence dacides aminés qui substituent une base ou un acide aminé natif dun épitope connu. La composition obtenue est un mélange de peptides associés pour une utilisation thérapeutique. Linvention concerne également un procédé de génération danticorps mettant en uvre les mélanges de peptides dépitopes dirigés sous forme dantigènes, et des anticorps générés par un tel procédé, utiles dans le traitement et le diagnostic dudit trouble lié aux modifications conformationnelles des protéines.
