A polymeric film has a substrate layer of polymeric material and a coating layer containing a copolyester obtainable by polymerising (a) 40 to 90 mole % of at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid and/or ester forming derivative thereof, (b) 10 to 60 mole % of at least one aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and/or ester forming derivative thereof, (c) 0.1 to 10 mole % of at least one dicarboxylic acid and/or ester forming derivative thereof comprising a free acid group and/or a salt thereof, (d) 40 to 90 mole % of at least one glycol having from 2 to 12 carbon atoms, and (e) 10 to 60 mole % of at least one polyalkylene glycol. The coated film is suitable for use as a lid for a container, particularly for food, exhibiting a strong heat-seal and easy peeling property.
Film polymère qui comporte une couche substrat en matériau polymère et une couche de revêtement contenant un copolyester que l'on obtient en polymérisant (a) 40 à 90 moles % d'au moins un acide dicarboxylique aromatique et/ou un dérivé formant ester dudit acide, (b) 10 à 60 moles % d'au moins un acide dicarboxylique aliphatique et/ou un dérivé formant ester dudit acide, (c) 0,1 à 10 moles % d'au moins un acide dicarboxylique et/ou un dérivé formant ester dudit acide comprenant un groupe acide libre et/ou un sel dudit acide, (d) 40 à 90 moles % d'au moins un glycol ayant de 2 à 12 atomes de carbone et (e) 10 à 60 moles % d'au moins un polyalkylène glycol. Le film recouvert peut être utilisé comme couvercle pour une boîte, en particulier de produit alimentaire, car il présente d'excellentes propriétés de thermosoudage et une grande facilité de pelage.
