A resin binder composition for the production of a fibre preform comprising an amount of at least one polyarylether thermoplast resin component and an amount of at least one thermoset resin component in weight ratio 80/20-10/90, in substantial absence of a catalyst which is active at the prevailing preform production temperature, wherein the polyarylether thermoplast has number average molecular weight (Mn) in the range 2,000-20,000, and comprises ether linked phenyl units and ether linked arylsulphone units and reactive end groups, method for producing a fibre preform using the thermally stable binder resin composition, a perform obtained with use of the method and composition, a method for injecting or infusing the preform with curable matrix resin, the curable injected or infused preform resin, a method for curing thereof and a cured composite obtained with the method.
L'invention concerne une composition de liant résineux, destinée à la production d'une préforme de fibre, comprenant une quantité d'au moins un composant de résine thermoplastique polyaryléther et une quantité d'au moins un composant de résine thermostable en rapport pondéral de 80/20-10/90, en l'absence sensible d'un catalyseur qui est actif à la température courante de production de la préforme, dans laquelle le thermoplastique polyaryléther possède un poids moléculaire moyen en nombre (Mn) compris dans entre 2,000 et 20,000, et comprend des unités phényle à liaison éther et des unités arylsulfones à liaison éther et des groupes d'extrémités réactifs. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de fabrication d'un préforme de fibre utilisant la composition de liant résineux thermostable, une préforme obtenue à l'aide du procédé et de la composition, un procédé d'injection ou d'infusion de la préforme avec une résine de matrice durcissable, la résine de préforme injectée ou infusée, un procédé de durcissement de ces produits et un composite durci obtenu au moyen du procédé.
