L'invention concerne un câble électrique, en particulier pour la transmission de courant continu haute tension. Ce câble comprend au moins un conducteur et au moins une couche de revêtement isolant extrudé se composant d'une composition polymère comprenant un polyéthylène modifié avec au moins un composé selon la formule générale (I).
