An articulated vehicle made up of plurality of articulated interconnected modules, including a leading module (1) with a front steering assembly (12), a rear module (3) with a controlled steerable rear wheel assembly (13), and optionally one or more intermediate modules (2). In said vehicle, two adjacent modules are joined together by a movable articulation support (6, 7) supported on an axle and combined with a rigid oblique articulated connector (8, 9). The position of each movable articulation support (6, 7) and the steerable rear wheel assembly (13) is controlled in such a way that its transverse centre axis corresponds at all times to the bisecting line of the angle between the two adjacent modules. Said vehicle is useful as an urban transport vehicle.
Le véhicule articulé est formé d'une pluralité de modules reliés de façon articulée entre eux, dont un module de tête (1) à train avant directeur (12), un module de queue (3) à train de roues arrière (13) orientable commandé et, selon le cas, un ou plusieurs modules intermédiaires (2), véhicule dans lequel deux modules successifs sont reliés par l'intermédiaire d'un support mobile d'articulation (6, 7) porté par un essieu et doublé d'une liaison articulée rigide oblique (8, 9), l'orientation de chaque support mobile d'articulation (6, 7) et celle du train arrière orientable (13) étant asservie de façon que son axe médian transversal corresponde en permanence à la bissectrice de l'angle formé par deux modules successifs. Applications: véhicules de transport urbain.
