ABSTRACT LAUNDRY TREATMENT ARTICLE A cleaning article is formed from a detergent composition impregnated into a flexible substrate. The detergent composition includes an alkyl polyglycoside and a detergency builder, the weight ratio of the total amount of surfactant to total amount of builder is at least 1:1. Especially useful are the polycarboxylate polymeric builders. Polyoxyethylene/polyoxypropylene copolymer may be used as a surfactant in conjunction with the alkyl polyglycoside.
